  • Vascular Plants of New Hampshire – List of all known vascular plant species in New Hampshire, as compiled for NH Heritage by Gilbert George in 1997. The list includes approximately 1,500 native and 500 naturalized species.
  • Animal Tracking List – List of all rare and imperiled animal species tracked by NH Heritage in cooperation with the Nongame & Endangered Wildlife Program. The list includes each species’ scientific and common names, global and state ranks, state and federal listing status, and number of known locations. Sorted by common name | Mini-booklet (by common name)
  • Rare Plants, Rare Animals, and Exemplary Natural Communities in New Hampshire Towns – Lists of rare species and exemplary natural communities reported in the last 20 years in each town in New Hampshire. The list includes each species’ and natural community’s name, its state and federal listing status, the number of known locations in a given town, and the number of known locations throughout New Hampshire.
  • State Watch and Indeterminate Plant Species - A list of plants that are at risk of becoming Threatened or Endangered (State Watch), or whose rarity status is uncertain (their rarity, nativity, taxonomy, and/or nomenclature is uncertain).
  • Natural Heritage Inventory Rules – Regulations established by the Department of Resources & Economic Development for implementing the Native Plant Protection Act.
  • New Natural Community Descriptions - A list (created July 2008) of natural community descriptions developed since the publication of the Natural Communities of New Hampshire technical manual in 2004.
  • New Natural Community System Descriptions - A list (created July 2008) of natural community system descriptions developed since the publication of the New Hampshire Natural Community Systems classification in 2005.
